Floppy disk Console Fixture Library

As the Zero 88 fixture library has expanded in size, it now exceeds the 1.44MB capacity of a standard floppy disk. The following steps will allow you to create a small fixture library that can be used with floppy drive legacy desks.

You will need to download the following:


  1. Run the Fixture Type Editor. Select the Cancel option from the pop up box.
  2. Go to the File tab on the tool bar and select New.
  3. Go to the File tab again and select Import Fixture Type.
  4. Select the current fixture library.
  5. A list of manufactures will then be displayed. Left clicking on the + next to the manufacture name will expand the list to show the fixtures we have profiles for.
  6. To select a fixture left click in the box next to the fixture name. Up to 50 fixtures can be selected for a single file. Select OK once the desired fixtures have been selected.
  7. Go to File tab and select the Save As option. Ensure the file name is less than 13 characters.
  8. Copy the file to a floppy disk and then follow the normal process for assigning fixture to your model of desk.
