What are Macros?

Macros is the term given to a function the lighting console can do for you. These come in the form of Fixture Macros which can be automatically generated after patching fixtures in the Macro window.

On the advanced ZerOS consoles, Macros can be programmed manually. When you Record a Macro you will be asked whether you want to Record Keys or Commands. After choosing whatever you do on the console will be recorded until you tap the MACRO button. Pressing this programmed Macro palette will then playback either the Keys or commands on the console from when you chose Keys/Commands to finishing recording the macro. This is commonly used for changing page numbers automatically on the console.

These Macros can then be triggered from any cue in any Playback in the Cue Settings.
