dmx patching of scrollers

Hi

i am using these scrollers. Chroma Q 8" 16 Frame with standard theatre gel string and i am not sure how to patch these in with a lamp. do i patch the light as the same address as the scroller.

im not familar with scrollers but you would want to set your scroller to a differnt address than your dimmer channel otherwise bringing up your dimmer channel would also control the scroller at the same time.

depending on how many lamps and scrollers you are using may depend on weather you want to have all your lamps on faders and the scrollers as fixtures, or if there are few you could just have dimmers and scrollers patched to faders.

Im pretty sure there are generic fixtures for use with scrollers.
